There are a couple of places you can start looking for statistics on steroid use among college athletes, though you may have some difficulty finding data specifically on community colleges. Keep in mind that you may need to adjust your topic as you search!

Let's start on the library website (http://www.lfcc.edu/libraries/). Go to the 'Find Articles' tab and click 'Popular Databases'.

Let's try the Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center. Click the link and once in the database, type "anabolic steroids" into the search field. Then select "Statistics" in the choices above the search field. Now click the "Search Statistics" button.

You should find statistics for steroid use - including those for college students.

You can also search the Academic Search Complete in Popular Databases for articles on steroid use among college athletes - these articles may cite statistical research that could be helpful to you. Try a search for "steroids" and "college athletes".

You may also want to check out the National Institute on Drug Abuse (http://www.drugabuse.gov/drugs-abuse/steroids-anabolic) and the Drug Enforcement Agency (http://www.justice.gov/dea/), which releases publications like this one: http://www.deadiversion.usdoj.gov/pubs/brochures/steroids/professionals/professionals.pdf
