Yes, you can! In addition to being an academic library serving the research needs of our current students and faculty, we serve the public in our service region.  We would love to have you back.

You will need to obtain a library card, which you can do by bringing in a drivers license and filling out a form.

  1. I have a library card from when I was an adjunct instructor at the college. I no longer live in the area, but can I still use my card when I am in the area? I think it has an expiration date, but I did not throw it away.

  2. Hi Elizabeth!

Yes, you can still use your library card even if you are no longer an employee - however, we would need to update your address in our records and determine whether you are still within our service region. I would recommend either stopping by the next time you are in the area or giving us a call (540-868-7170 for Middletown, 540-351-1596 for Fauquier) so we can confirm your new address!
